Self-care/Coop Boarding

You provide the care for your horse, we provide the facility.  This option includes a 10x12 matted stall, full use of the facility, hay & shavings.  You provide grain, buckets, blankets, fans, etc.  With everyone helping out, boarders typically come out once a day.  Swapping of chores or hiring are available options to cover times you are unavailable.

If you like to care for your own horse, or he/she has special needs that other full-care facilities are not willing to provide, this option is for you!   Daily interaction with your horse lets you:  monitor their water, grain, and hay intake; know when something is not right; know when an injury, scrape or scratch has occurred; cements that bond between you and your equine friend.

If you are new into horses and want a supportive environment in which to learn about horse care, this is a great opportunity.

Rate:  $240/month

Other Services

Other services, such as blanketing, graining, etc. are available for a fee.

Your favorite vet, farrier and insured instructor are welcome.
